Terms of use

Last updated: 10 October 2026

The leadpol.pl website presents our range and lets you contact us. We do not sell here - orders are agreed individually, and retail sales run through a separate online shop.

1. General provisions

  1. These terms set out the rules for using the website at leadpol.pl, hereinafter the Website.
  2. The owner and administrator of the Website is Leadpol Sp. z o.o., registered office in Chełm, ul. Okszowska 41, 22-100 Chełm, Poland, entered in the Polish register of entrepreneurs under KRS 0000501582, VAT ID (NIP) 899 275 16 00, REGON 022 366 741, hereinafter the Provider.
  3. You can reach the Provider at biuro@leadpol.pl and on +48 531 010 077, Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 16:00 CET.
  4. Using the Website means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Website.

2. Services provided electronically

  1. Through the Website the Provider delivers the following services by electronic means: publishing information (descriptions of products, services, applications and articles), making files available for download (certificates, safety data sheets, specifications, brochures) and an enquiry form.
  2. All services are free of charge.
  3. The Website is not an online shop. Information about products and services does not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code, but an invitation to conclude a contract within the meaning of Article 71 of that Code.
  4. Retail sales of selected products run through a separate online shop at sklep.leadpol.pl, which has its own terms. These terms do not govern sales made in that shop.

3. The enquiry form

  1. The enquiry form is there to send the Provider the information needed to prepare a quotation or answer a question.
  2. Using the form requires your name, an e-mail address and either your enquiry or the parameters of the material, plus ticking the consent box. The remaining fields - company name, phone number, type of material, thickness and size - are optional.
  3. Sending the form does not conclude a contract and does not place an order. It is only an enquiry, which the Provider answers as far as possible, usually within one working day.
  4. The Provider does not undertake to answer enquiries unrelated to its business.
  5. How the data you enter in the form is processed is described in the Privacy policy.

4. Technical requirements

  1. All you need to use the Website is a device with internet access and a browser supporting the HTML5 and CSS3 standards.
  2. The Website also works with JavaScript disabled, including the enquiry form. Disabling JavaScript only limits the weight calculator, the image gallery and the drop-down menu on mobile devices.
  3. Opening the files in the Downloads section requires software that reads PDF.
  4. The Provider is not liable for interruptions in the Website caused by circumstances beyond its control, including failures on the part of the hosting provider or the network operator.

5. Rules of use

  1. You must use the Website in accordance with the law and with good practice.
  2. You must not supply unlawful content, in particular content infringing the personal rights of third parties, offensive content, or advertising sent through the enquiry form without the Provider's prior consent.
  3. You must not disrupt the Website, including by sending automated enquiries, attempting to bypass security measures or placing an excessive load on the server.
  4. The Provider may decline to handle an enquiry that breaches these rules.

6. Copyright

  1. The content of the Website - texts, photographs, layout, trade marks and logos - is protected by copyright or industrial property rights belonging to the Provider, or is used with the rightholders' permission.
  2. Copying, distributing and using the content of the Website for commercial purposes without the Provider's written consent is not permitted.
  3. You may download and print the files in the Downloads section for your own use and in order to present them to a designer, a radiation protection inspector or another party in connection with your project.

7. Liability for technical content

  1. The product parameters given on the Website - thicknesses, dimensions, weights, standards - are for information. Weights are calculated for a lead density of 11.34 kg/dm³ and do not include rolling tolerance.
  2. The weight calculator on the product pages is an estimating tool. Its result is not binding and does not replace a specification or a commercial offer.
  3. The required thickness of radiation shielding is determined by a shielding design prepared by a qualified specialist. The Provider selects the material on the basis of the Pb equivalent stated by the customer and does not take the place of the designer or the radiation protection inspector.
  4. Binding parameters, prices and lead times are set each time by an individual commercial offer or contract.

8. Links to other websites

The Website contains links to external sites, including the online shop at sklep.leadpol.pl and Google Maps. The Provider is not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of the sites these links lead to.

9. Complaints about the Website

  1. Complaints about how the Website works can be sent to biuro@leadpol.pl.
  2. A complaint should describe the problem and give contact details so that we can reply.
  3. The Provider considers complaints within 14 days of receipt and replies to the address the complaint was sent from.
  4. Complaints about delivered goods are handled under the sales contract or the online shop terms, not under this clause.

10. Final provisions

  1. Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.
  2. The Provider may amend these terms for valid reasons, in particular a change in the law or in the scope of services. Amended terms take effect on the day they are published on the Website.
  3. These terms are available free of charge at this address in a form that allows them to be downloaded, stored and printed.
  4. This English version is provided for information. In the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
