No widely available material has such a high self-weight. Even in a small space the mass you need can be achieved - which is why lead goes wherever a counterweight is required.

Cavities are filled with lead balls to create ballast or a counterweight. Where a solid mass of a particular shape is needed, plates and profiles are used - cut and milled to size.
Typical applications are counterweights for machinery and cranes, weights, diving ballast and vibration damping elements.
A suitable layer of lead deadens rooms and damps noise. Self-adhesive lead foil, lead-lined boards and sheet of any thickness are used for such work - the thickness matched to the sound level emitted.
For example, a lead-lined board with a 1.0 mm lead layer cuts noise by up to 12 dB.
Besides finished products we make parts from a technical drawing - through machining (turning, boring, milling) and metal forming (folding, bending, profiling).
The type of material, the thickness and the dimensions are enough. If you need a non-standard shape, send a drawing - we accept .dxf files and dimensioned sketches.
