Lead sheet is heavy and bends easily, so we treat the way it is packed as seriously as the material itself.
The price of a parcel shipment includes packing, that is the cost of the materials that protect the sheet in transit. The tube is closed at both ends with plugs and lined inside with polystyrene, which reduces the risk of the sheet bending.
A heavy-duty clamping band keeps the sheet from sliding out of the tube during courier transport. Stretch film protects it against moisture, and the label attached to it states in general terms what the shipment contains.
For pallet shipments the sheet is banded and wrapped in the same way. For larger orders we arrange full truck loads - the price depends on the quantity and the distance.
Please inspect the shipment on delivery. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, check in the presence of the courier whether the sheet itself has been affected. If there are signs of damage, record a damage report with the courier and contact us to agree how to proceed with the claim.

The type of material, the thickness and the dimensions are enough. If you need a non-standard shape, send a drawing - we accept .dxf files and dimensioned sketches.
