Cookie policy
In short: the site stores no cookies on your device and connects to no third-party servers. The one exception is the Google map on the Contact page - and only if you start it yourself.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on the user's device - a computer, tablet or phone. They usually contain the name of the site they come from, a unique identifier and a storage period.
They fall into two kinds: session cookies, deleted when the browser closes, and persistent cookies, which stay on the device for a set time or until the user deletes them.
2. Does this website use cookies
The leadpol.pl website sets no cookies of its own. There is no user session, no login and no basket, and we use no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking tools.
This means that browsing the product, service and article pages, and sending an enquiry through the form, stores nothing on your device on our behalf.
The typefaces the site uses are hosted on our own server. Your browser does not fetch them from Google, so ordinary browsing involves no connection to any third-party server.
3. Third-party cookies
On the Contact page we make location maps from Google Maps available. The map does not load on its own - in its place you see a panel with a button and a note explaining what happens if you press it. Until you do, your browser makes no connection to Google and nothing is stored on your device.
Once you press it, Google may store its own cookies and read them on later visits to Google services. We have no access to those files and no influence over their content. The choice applies to one map and one visit - we do not remember it.
No other page on the site embeds external content that would store cookies.
| Provider | Where | Purpose | Leadpol access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Contact page, only after you press the button | displaying an interactive location map | none |
4. How to manage cookies
Cookie settings are managed in your browser. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or ask to be prompted each time. Most browsers accept cookies by default.
Instructions for the most common browsers are in their help menus:
- Chrome - Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Firefox - Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Safari - Preferences › Privacy
- Edge - Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Blocking third-party cookies may stop the map from displaying properly even after you press the button. Everything else on the site, including the enquiry form, works unchanged - the addresses of both our locations are also given as plain text.
5. Data logged automatically by the server
Separately from cookies, the server records standard information about requests in its logs: IP address, date and time, the address requested and the browser type. The logs are used only to diagnose faults and protect the site against abuse. We do not link them to form data and do not use them to analyse visitor behaviour.
6. More information
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy. The rules for using the site are in the Terms of use.
