Radiation shielding often calls for large sheets of lead - against X-ray and electromagnetic radiation, and for sound insulation. Even a 0.2 mm layer provides effective insulation.
Foil comes in rolls up to 8,000 mm as standard, longer on request. We cut it to the size you need, with a minimum order of 1 m².
Because the material is highly flexible, curved and angular surfaces are quickly covered as well. Foil is fixed to walls and ceilings with adhesives or double-sided tape, both of which we also supply.

Lead weighs 11.34 kg per cubic decimetre. The weight determines how a consignment is packed and what the transport costs.
Where the lead cannot be covered - on a door, for instance - it can be painted with a dedicated primer enamel. The colour is chosen freely from the RAL range.
