Pb940R / EN 12588 lead sheet and lead plates

Lead plates are used as protection against X-rays. Frequent use is also the use of these panels as a counterweight as well as for other industrial applications.

Standard dimensions of lead sheets are available from stock. The minimum order for each sheet thickness is 1000 x 1000mm or 1m2.

Dimensions and thicknesses that are not listed are made for a specific order, approximate date of completion max. up to 2 weeks from the order.

Installation of radiation protection very often requires the use of large lead sheets against X-rays as well as electromagnetic radiation, it also works great when damping rooms.

Self-adhesive lead foils Pb940R / EN 12588

Thanks to the use of self-adhesive coating on our foil, its use becomes even easier and the time required for installations is reduced to a minimum. The self-adhesive lead foil is available in rolls, up to 10,000 mm long and from 0.5 to 2.0 mm thick.

Lead foil mainly serves as a shield against radiation, but also works well as noise source insulation (thickness then depends on the noise emitted).

The minimum order for each thickness is 1000 x 1000mm.

Lead tapes Pb940R / EN 12588

In other words, the lead sheet is light-rolled. Ease of cold processing and long life makes this tape an ideal material for connections and roofing terminations throughout the roof area. The small dimensions of the tape are used to perform various treatments, chimney, gutter, and bottom roofing. The lead tape works well in various weather conditions and is very durable. The tape is also suitable for joining when performing X-ray shields.

GK-RTG boards with lead coating / DIN EN 14190

Structural panels made of gypsum board, fiber board and chipboard sheet laminated with lead foil from the back side of the board. GK - X-ray is used for protection against X-ray and TMG radiation, and works great as an acoustic barrier against room leakage. Wet and dry installation boards.

Leaded glass

We offer lead glass with densities of 5.05 g / cm3 and 3.13 g / cm3. To determine the choice of the correct glass, determine the radiation dose and lead factor. These calculations are usually made by the radiological designer based on many factors. Glass with a lead density of 3.13 g / cm3 can be thermally tempered and supplied as non-spray glass. Lead glass is characterized by high protection at min. thick glass. Lead glass, despite the ever-improving parameters of X-ray acrylic, still remains irreplaceable in many applications.

Differences between acrylic glass and lead glass:

1. Lead glass is much thinner with a comparable lead equivalent
2. It is also anti-static and less dirty
3. It has secured edges and is non-flammable
4. It can be disinfected with UV radiation
5. It is more resistant to scratches and chemical liquids

Lead glass with two lead densities:

1. Glass 50 - min. lead density 5.05 g / cm3
2. Glass 30 - min. lead density 3.13 g / cm3

Lead seals Pb99,97 and sealing wires

Our offer also includes lead seals. They are used for sealing various types of measuring devices, means of transport, containers, safes or control and electrical cabinets. The seals are clamped using a sealer on the sealing wire or on the seals.

Lead ingots and lead bars Pb 99.97

Lead geese are supplied as a metallurgical semi-finished product in the form of a metal body cast in a special shape. They are intended for further processing, usually remelting or for plastic processing. Our geese do not show any layering, and there are no tarnish colors on their surface.

Specifications of lead ingots:

Lead wool for seals

Lead wool used to seal hard to reach walls and ceilings or flange connections that require radiation protection. Very good plasticity ensures quick and easy filling and sealing of small holes and gaps.

Fiber thickness:

Lead wool is laid in layers. The amount of wool required depends on the size of the gap. The target density is 11.0 kg / dm. After laying, the material forms a homogeneous layer of lead that effectively protects against radiation.

Lead profiles

The profiles offered by the Leadpol company are used, among others, for protection against high radiation. The advantage of these profiles is the possibility of assembly with different thicknesses. The shape is constructed so that it is easy to connect with each other. After connection, there is no gap between the individual elements.

Lead Balls

Like lead wool, the granulate can be used as a sealant and filler for radiological protection projects. This material has a low melting point, making it easy to process. Lead granulate can also be used as a diving ballast and in modeling. Standard dimensions range from 2.5 to 4.0mm.

Standard dimensions of lead granulate:

2. Estimated density of 7.3 kg / dm3

Empty spaces can be filled with lead granulate for ballast or counterweight. The ball diameter is 2.5mm and has an approximate bulk density of 7 kg / dm3. Higher densities can be achieved by filling with lead balls with a diameter of 10.0mm and a fine granulate of 0.4 to 0.8mm.
